You know what, DIS, I think you guys are tired of reading MY reviews. Get your voice heard in this blog post!

WRITE YOUR OWN BOOK REVIEW

Being "The Book Keeper", my number one goal is to spread the same feeling that I go through every single time I open a book, smell the fresh pages and absorb each and every word. I know that there are many others out there that feel the same way. To all of those who do, this is your chance!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Check out the book shown above ("Wonder" by R. J. Palacio) and download it in the .pdf below:

2) Write a book review in Google Docs/Microsoft Word and email it to bookkeeper@deccan.edu.in

3) Add your first name, last name and email so that we can announce the winner sometime in the end of September (check this post on that day). Submissions are due by September 25th. The winner will be emailed with some interview questions and then must answer back. The questions and answers will be posted on the blog for everyone to view.

Best of luck and happy writing, DIS!

The author of Wonder was R.J. Palacio. It is about a 6th-grader who has a facial deformity who goes through the troubles and bullying in middle school. It includes chapters about the experiences of him and his family and how he finally makes it through 6th grade with a whole group of friends. It's one of the most heart-wrenching and meaningful books I've ever read. Anyone who is above 10 years of age should definitely read this including high schoolers.
